Week 56 - Parenthood

Once upon a time, there was a mighty King and a beautiful Queen. They had a child and then everything changed forever. No matter what you are, the moment you become a parent, your life totally changes. The bad thing is that there is no way back..you are just stuck with it for life! But the good thing is also that there is no way back! πŸ˜Š Who wants to look back anyway!!

This week, our show was all about realizing the responsibilities as a parent, acknowledging it and striving hard to be one.πŸ‘¨‍πŸ‘©‍πŸ‘§

Dev and Sona have individually been great parents! Although Dev was technically parenting his brother's son, he was pretty much playing the role of a father and even a mother sometimes.. As Golu rightly said, if at all he ever has a need to choose between his mom and dad, he will choose neither and will only be with his Big cha, the Dev Dixit πŸ˜

------

After the snake encounter last week, a tired Sonakshi woke up to a sweet gesture of Dev's small "Get well" note and a box of pain killers :) The repulsion between the two, have now substantially reduced, thanks to the summer camp and especially to the snake sent by GKB.😊

A man is not born a dad. Dev's own loss of his dad at a young age has made him the dad that he is, today. Whether it was for Golu or Suhana, his fatherly instincts are so much lively and is constantly looking for opportunities to enrich the learning and life experience of the kids..I have seen fathers who do the drop off/pick up duties for different activity classes of kids.. Most of the fathers that I see (and mothers too) will sit in a bench with their smart phone and hardly even look at their kids playing soccer, skating or learning any other activity..But if I imagine Dev there, I bet he will be a hands-on person. Participating in those games was something that came naturally to him and he was so interested in doing those! He didnt have to go out of the way to do any of that. I know first hand about how kids "love" if their parents are involved and are hands on! It was no wonder to me that Suhana was indeed impressed with her dad! ❤️😍

The little girl had imagined her father to be tall, handsome, strong, funny just like a movie hero. Her dad Dev, was all that and much more - very caring and loving as well..The moment of her calling Dev as papa was a much awaited moment and did not fail to bring those happy tears. πŸ€—

Once again, the show's subtlety is what stood out that day, apart from the extraordinary performance of Dev and the little girl. No big drama because of Soha calling "papa", but a heartfelt contentment and happiness filled Dev's, Sonakshi's as well as Golu's eyes..πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»

I am sure even those that consider Dev as a bad husband will accept the fact that he is a good man. Even Bijoy's first meeting of Dev started at this - a staff came to thank Dev for helping his daughter..Dev has never hesitated to show his generosity to his employees.. nor has he ever shied away from spending his hard earned money towards many good deeds like building a child ward in a hospital.. Sonakshi had always admired and acknowledged the fact that Dev is a good man. Even if it was for only a few moments, it was wonderful to see this side of Dev again and Sonakshi looking at Dev with the same fondness she had during what I call the "Natasha" period πŸ˜πŸ˜„ There cannot be a better way to celebrate the fatherhood that Dev has now achieved than to celebrate with the less fortunate orphans....πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»

How on earth will Suhana choose between these two lovely parents? She needs both mom and dad.. And why not? Dev and Sonakshi are both parent goals, why would their child like only one? But I really liked how Dev tried to explain that they both will probably end up fighting all the time and Suhana will not like that either.. How much can you explain to a six-year old girl about couple compatibility and in-Laws issue.. But ya, Ishwari's possessiveness is like that of a possessiveness of a six year old little girl for her doll.. and that part, Suhana may even understand!! πŸ˜‰πŸ˜‰

Even though she is just a little girl, she articulated her mind extremely well to her papa and mamma... "You are a much better papa than I ever imagined.. And mamma is already world's best! How can I choose one?? If am with you, I will miss mamma and if I am with mamma, I will miss you"... πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ» Dev is usually a person that thinks via his heart only.. And this time, his heart as well as brain, tell him only one thing - that he needs to make Suhana happy. He needs to be the papa, that his daughter deserves! It looks like just yesterday, when Dev and Sona were struggling with the fact that they cannot have any child.. And here she is, in front of them, their own.. and how can he not give her the very genuine request...πŸ˜’πŸ˜’

Parenthood is about self sacrifice.. about keeping your kids above your own needs.. and every parent strives hard to give their child all that they never had as a child. Inspite of all the differences between Dev and Sona, they both are in the same page that they cannot give this child a troubled childhood, just because of their differences. The wonderful part of this show is that both Dev and Sonakshi are "good" ❤️❤️.  Only because they are good, they did not hesitate to sacrifice their "ego" in just a second! It was heartwarming to witness their genuine discussion.. of exploring the possibility of them getting together again! Dev, as a person, has gone through so many phases single handedly..but ever since Sonakshi came in his life even as just a friend, he had created a dependency on her and he surely felt weak when they got separated..but, this state of not being able to see his daughter happy has made him more helpless than ever before.. and I was very keen to see him break his barriers and go above and beyond to make his daughter happy. I knew he would be willing to do anything. Thats the magic of people who give the decision making powers to the heart ❤️

Its really good to see that the summer camp has shattered that heat between Dev and Sonakshi. They are now able to talk more courteously towards each other πŸ˜Š Because of the fact that Dev and Sonakshi have been such a lovable couple, there are tons of things that bring back fond memories.. and seeing all that only makes me long for them to get together again..I am looking forward to Dev calling his daughter soon a "tiny mini kharghosh.. "😁 knowing the pulse of the makers, I am sure that they will get us all those scenes very soon πŸ€“

Along with the courtesy, its very delightful to see some lighter moments in their conversation! Those transport me back to the "pre-Natasha" period πŸ˜ Shaheer and Erica have really gone into the characters they are playing and are proving their chemistry one more time even with their "I hate you" story!! Some actors touch our hearts and remain our favorites because of the characters they have played. Even after many years, I am sure Dev and Sonakshi will live our hearts forever ❤️ There are tons of videos floating around and this week's episodes are sure to be saved in our forever library. They are worth seeing multiple times πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»

I have well deviated from the story now.. While these beautiful parents are struggling to give what their child needs, the elders stumped me!! I am not saying grandparents don't have rights on their grandchildren... but Ishwari and Bijoy's dialogues were extremely hilarious to me...πŸ˜‚ 😲 "achanak se ab Suhana aur Dev ke beech main Sonakshi aa gayi.." Whaaaaaaat? πŸ˜²πŸ˜² Who came between who??? πŸ˜‘😑 And Bijoy was like "This is our family matter, don't get Dev into it" What the heck? πŸ˜‘😑  Ishwari's growing insecurity is well going overboard already! And I fail to understand how she can fail to understand a simple fact that there is no grand daughter Suhana without mom Sonakshi?? And I am also very disturbed by the fact that Bijoy wants to keep Suhana away from her dad. When he himself is a dad, how can he even think of separating Dev from Suhana, especially after the little child has expressed her love for her papa.. Well.. there is just no point in discussing about these old people. Its waste of time. And I hope Dev and Sonakshi will also ignore all these stupid things around them and concentrate on their daughter only.

In today's competitive and highly demanding world, even if both parents slog, we still cant fulfill all the needs of a child. My husband and I often talk about how parenting is too different from the time we were kids.. It now almost seems  to me that every child needs atleast 2 dads and 2 moms. There are plenty of things that the parents these days have to meet apart from "Financial" and "taking care of home"... One parent must be exclusively assigned for giving that extra coaching to meet the pressures of the school! And one parent to go on the mission to make their child the best in "Sports", "Music", "Art" and the infinite co-curricular options!!! So, I am surprised how single parents even pull it off!! πŸ€”πŸ€” Dev and Sonakshi have made the right decision of doing it together for their daughter no matter how hard it may get!

When a good friend of mine was going through a divorce, I advised her to really consider again, because as husband and wife we have all the rights to get separated or even kill each other and go to prison! But as father and mother, we don't have any rights to screw up the emotions and future of our children. Every child needs a dad and a mom. Period.  I am 100% sure that Dev and Sona will come with bright and flying colors as the "Bestest parents". In that process, Ishwari's "I will make my grand daughter a Dixit child" will only go into a million unidentifiable pieces!! GKB and Vicky will only end up drinking tons of water after the encounter with the "Choti mirchi" (tiny chilli!!") πŸ˜‚ Sonakshi's strong and straightforward personality is enough to handle Bijoy!

Before I wrap this week's write up, some scenes that really need a special mention:

1. Dev and Sonakshi's open discussion in front of Sona's house sitting down in the side path - I really loved how this scene has been conceived ❤️ πŸ‘πŸ» πŸ‘πŸ»

2. Suhana's crisp and to-the-point explanation to her papa and mom about how she loves both and how she just cannot choose one. πŸ€—

3. The encounter of both families together in front of Dev-Sona-Soha and how the Trio made a stand that they are now a family and need some decision making powers and how Asha and mama ji supported them!! πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»

4. The coffee scene in Dev's office between Dev and Sonakshi for the lighter moments and yet some thought provoking discussion about man-woman equality!πŸ‘ŒπŸ»πŸ‘ŒπŸ»

5. The final scene in front of Sonakshi's house where he reminds himself that this is the nth time he is standing there.. In the past he had come there as a boss, a friend, a boy friend, a "pagal aashiq", and pati.. However, he is now there only as "papa" and nothing else!! Well.. any man can become a father.. it takes someone as special as Dev to become a dad πŸ˜Š

6. Being the Shaheer fan that I am, all those stylish bike scenes that brought a teenage smile on my face πŸ˜πŸ˜„ and that last heroic entry into the Bose mansion!!πŸ’ͺ🏼 πŸ’ͺ🏼

7. The orphanage scene for the powerful message of building a longer table instead of a higher fence when you have more than what you need! On that note, thanks to the fans that participated in our "Be the Change" campaign. Lets try and continue to do more such service to the society that we live in! ❤️

The following week looks so promising with the cute Saurabh Rounita's engagement ceremonies! Dev's stay in the Bose house is definitely going to keep us glued to the TV!

Week 55 - Discovery

The voyage of discovery is not in seeking new things, but in having new eyes to the same things.. One of the best time pass for me with kids is to look up at the clouds and try to spot different shapes and pictures in it! If you have not already done it, try to do it.. its really fun! πŸ˜„

Dev and Sonakshi have long given up on each other, or so they think. They have bottled up so much love and hate, so much patience and frustration, so much ease and anger for each other in the last 7 years! Whatever happens now, is only a result of all those unexpressed emotions.. I personally love how the change in them is gradually occurring instead of a filmy "boom" way!.. its almost just like how it happened the first time πŸ˜Š The only difference is that, at first, it was a new feeling and now its a familiar feeling, yet seems magically new πŸ’“ The 7 years have brought so many changes to their personality.. because of the pressures of life and family and because of the stress of having to deal it all without each other..😒

They are both in a new zone now - their own zone.. Time has changed them a lot and they are not the same at all. But, the summer camp has paved way for them to look at themselves and at each other with a new set of eyes.. The kids bring a new dimension to it. The whole week was very enjoyable... and I wish the camp can go on for a long time!

The week started with the beautiful rain sequence! Sonakshi thinking about the old times made the moment even more beautiful and our favorite old soundtrack topped it all πŸ˜Š Sonakshi saw the Dev that she had discovered 7 years ago still in tact! But Alas! has she changed? Even the thought of her becoming a moody rude person like the old Mr.Dixit, was so strange to her to accept that she wanted to quickly snap out of it and gave her hand to dance with Dev! A familiar touch, a familiar ease... its only natural that they got lost in thoughts πŸ’– It was a beautiful moment of rediscovering themselves! πŸ’‘ The actors, as always, only outdo themselvesπŸ‘ŒπŸ»πŸ‘ŒπŸ»πŸ‘ŒπŸ» Even though the inspiration of the basket ball and rain dance comes from my favorite "Kuch kuch hota hai", I must admit that the charm of Kuch Rang pyar ke aise bhi is unique and admirable πŸ‘πŸ½πŸ‘πŸ½πŸ‘πŸ½

Who would think that Mr.Dixit, who hardly knew to fold his handkerchief will graduate to make a Kaada? Dev's quick thinking, Ishwari's recipe, Miss.Sharma's assistance in kitchen, and Technology's help - all made the making of Kaada possible! I quickly jotted down the recipe myself, as it seems to have super magic power πŸ’ͺ🏼😁 One of these days, I hope Ishwari will also share the recipe of Besan ka halwa and her signature Kachori..if at all she gets some time off from Radha rani!

Talking about Ishwari - She mentioned one of the beautiful life lessons for parents that day... Parents are not born parents..they only learn over time. Its so true that they, in fact grow with kids and learn from their own mistakes!! Every kid is different and therefore every parent has a new lesson to learn. It looked to me that her own advice to Dev sparked a thought in her mind... I wish she would introspect on her mistakes...of being over possessive and not allowing another girl in Dev's life... Ishwari spoke about how parents are always anxious whether they are spoiling the kids by giving too much love..or hurting them by scolding more.. 100% true words.. we never know what is right..we constantly learn from our own mistakes..How I wish, she will look at herself and her son with new set of eyes and step aside for Sona and Suhana to get into her son's life... After all, Ishwari is the woman and mother, who brought up her kids single handedly and was the reason for Dev's success. She was the woman that Sonakshi admired and respected!! She is basically a good human being.. But why does she fail to realize the injustice done to Sonakshi? Up until this moment, she only considers Sonakshi as an enemy in her and her son's life. Sona had always respected Ishwari and was longing for her love and in return all she got was only Ishwari's hatred! Completely unfair.πŸ˜’πŸ˜’

Seeing mother-in-laws like Ishwari and father-in-laws like Bijoy, I often wonder if today's "nuclear family" set up is because of the intolerance of the younger generation or because of the interference of the older generation.. πŸ€”

Back in the camp, Sonakshi discovered a new Dev that day.. A Dev that she always wanted to see...A man who is not dependent on anyone for anything. Dev's kitchen skills is just one of the things that took Sonakshi by surprise. Dev's adept way of convincing his daughter to drink the Kaada with his magical superpower story was lovely ❤️😲  The experience Dev had with bringing up Golu has reformed him into a "Dad" even without becoming a dad.

Sonakshi was obviously impressed with Dev.. and the moment of the silent awkwardness was there! It reminded me of a time, long ago, before their marriage when Dev was telling Sona that this moment of "silent awkwardness" will never come in their life, as they can talk anything they want πŸ˜’πŸ˜’  Nevertheless, for us fans, even those few silent seconds were enough to have an "Awwwww" moment!

Just like the rain dance, the dumb charades was also a reminder to me of the old times.. Who can forget the epic "Titanic" pose? Dev has really changed you see! He could sign "Dil chahtha hai" with just a single act.. and crack the "I love you" with just the first word!! And the awkwardness continued...But it definitely paved way for the resistance to reduce and be able to atleast tolerate the presence of each other around...😊

Golu and Soha also got to see a new side of Dev and Sonakshi. Apart from the fact that the kids did exceedingly well, I want to stop and congratulate the makers for keeping the kids as kids πŸ‘πŸ½πŸ‘πŸ½πŸ‘πŸ½ Because of the exposure of TV and movies, kids these days know a lot more than we used to know as kids. But still, its really good to see Golu and Soha asking the just right questions in the just right kiddish way and I also love how Dev and Sona answered them with the appropriate yet close to reality answers!

Dev's "I hate her" was more emotional than Sona's "I am sorry Soha..but your mom and dad cannot live together!" But, we know that Dev has always been the more emotional of the two. And therefore, the "I love you" from the dumb charades was still lingering in his mind and this was the only way for him to get over it!!

The snake episode that followed gave a newer outlook of Dev and Sona to the kids and also to themselves!

I am dead scared of snakes, just like Dev. Just writing about it now, makes me want to look around the floor to check whether there is anything near my feet..πŸ˜’πŸ˜’ But thank God for the comedy track!! πŸ™πŸΌ

"Dads are most ordinary men turned by Love into superheroes, adventurers, story tellers and singers" πŸ’ͺ🏼 - Dev was just an ordinary man who wanted his daughter to call him "papa" and more importantly wanted to make sure her daughter was safe and not threatened by a snake that night. And so, he let go of that fear for snake because his thought of not being there for Soha was more fearful for him.. Letting go of the fear for snake was something he probably never thought he could do! For some reason, it reminded me of the DevkiDeewangi part.. Then and now, he was naturally pushed by his fear of losing his love.. Then and now, he became blindly fearless and faced the storm. Whats different is that at that time, he was a victim of his emotions but now he has learnt to fight his emotions..

The snake episode, not just brought out the fearlessness in Dev, but also brought out the possessiveness of Sona. Calling Dev Mr.Abhodro after a long time definitely touched the untouched part of Dev's heart! Only lovers can miss even the chiding of their loved ones!! Her running to rescue Dev definitely gave strong messages to the moms of the other kids..:)

After a very long time, I laughed so hard that day for every moment of Dev and Sona in that room with the snake!!πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚  Finally, Ex-GKB did something that I can give her some credit for!! Shaheer and Erica have great chemistry in their comic timing as well!!πŸ‘πŸ½πŸ‘πŸ½πŸ‘πŸ½

The familiar touch and familiar ease continued... Familiar acts are just beautiful in Love ❤️ I read in some fan's comments that if only these two are left alone for sometime, they will figure it all out. Very true.😬

The new side of Dev, Sona and even the kids definitely came out this week. But it looks like GKB will always remain the same!! Her interference in Saurabh's fiancΓ¨ was the typical GKB we have been seeing since the beginning!! Saurabh and Ronita are really cute and I like this couple a lot. I hope that whatever happened this week does not affect their relationship.. For a change, I liked Bijoy when he confronted the Dixit family and put in front of Ishwari the black as black! And I also loved how GKB got exposed to Ishwari!  Atleast with the arrival of Soha, the Bose family's existence is getting some acknowledgement from Ishwari!!

I wonder how long will Radha rani keep influencing Ishwari or I should rather put it as how long will Ishwari be influenced by Radha rani? For as long as you are ready to get fooled, people who fool you, will not cease to exist! Its only upto Ishwari!! And "Keeping Sonakshi away from the Dixit home" project which was scrapped 7 years ago, was reopened again this week - thanks to GKB's stirring skill and Ishwari's insecurities!

While this is happening in Ishwari Niwas, the 2 young flawless souls asked the stars to somehow get Dev and Sonakshi together so that they can all live under the same roof...❤️ Little do they know the difference between good and evil. Neither do they know the wicked intentions of the elders!! The kids bring out the flavor of innocence, the innocent flavor of Love to Dev and Sona's relationship. These 2 kids are extremely cute and are acting extremely well! I am on "TeamGoluSoha" and will support all that they wish for πŸ˜Š

The dialogue writers of this show get 5 stars this week, especially for the Friday episode! Extremely profound dialogues!! πŸ‘πŸ½πŸ‘πŸ½πŸ‘πŸ½⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

"Jab hamara bheega rishta bhi nafrat ki aag mein jal gaya..toh ye lakdiyan kya cheez hai!"
"Rishte todne se ehsaas nahi katam hota hain.."
"Aur kuch log, buri yaadon ke saath jeena seekh lete hain"
"Haq apno ko dete hai.. jo chod ke chale jate..unhe nahi"
"Aur main toh tumhari apni kabhi thi hi nahi"
"I hate you!" "I hate you too!"
--- just to list a few...

The historical "chalne ki thameez nahi hai tho" dialogue came back again, but with a role reversal - symbolic of Dev being the cool dude now and Sona the Ms.Abhodro? Dev has made a fence around himself and within it, he doesn't allow anyone. He has taken a "Cool dude" avatar for the last 7 years!! But he cant fool Sonakshi with this Avatar. She can see through that and feel the pain that he is in, because she is also undergoing the same pain that he is experiencing..

What became clear that night through the beautiful dialogues was that - Sonakshi has learnt to withstand that pain by becoming a rock. Dev has learnt to reduce the effects of the pain on him, by developing a false bravado and quick wit for things around him. But this pretension of the two is only for the outside world... Even their "I hate you" sounds like "I love you so much!" ❤️πŸ˜πŸ˜„

But in that solitude of the night, this fence broke be it for a for a few seconds as they relived their old selves.. calling each other with the same fondness they had 7 years ago - only to be shaken by the reality too soon...Shaheer as Dev and Erica as Sonakshi have gone into the skin of the characters they are playing and any amount of admiration and praise they get is only less πŸ‘πŸ½πŸ‘πŸ½πŸ‘πŸ½⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

One question that Sonakshi asked that night was profound! Dev now wants to stand up and fight for his rights on Suhana. Had he stood up and owned Sonakshi 7 years ago and not let her go so easily... theirs would also be one happy family! Sona hit the hammer on the nail head with this remark.. Dev had always been the overly possessive sort of lover and husband. However, when it mattered the most, he did not show that possessiveness. A wife gets into a marriage with the strong trust on husband that he will stand by her and protect her in the new territory that she is entering, leaving behind her parents. Its a big let down for a woman when her husband asks her to leave without any further discussion...Its like letting go in the middle of a big ocean! It breaks her morale and self confidence down and it takes a very strong woman and a very long time, to collect herself up and march forward in life. Sonakshi went through this because of Dev. The 2 flashback scenes that were flashed to Dev were the apt ones that clearly pointed his mistakes to him! And he did not have any answers for her, except to stop and divert the discussion. She did it alone all along and does not need his hands now.πŸ’ͺ🏼πŸ’ͺ🏼πŸ’ͺ🏼

At the end of the week, Dev and Sonakshi definitely have started perceiving themselves and each others differently.  Will this subdued anger reduce their repulsion and allow them to talk more in the coming weeks? The precap seems very promising. Suhana is making the right moves for getting her mama and papa to reconcile. A friend told me after Soha said "I can live with you only if you both live together", what if she added "Agar, main aisi wali beti hoti tho!!" πŸ€”πŸ€”

I  Hope not πŸ˜„

And my wish is that Dev and Sona should get together because of the love they have for each other, not just because of Suhana..I love Suhana, no doubt. But I Love the Love of Dev and Sonakshi πŸ˜„❤️ and I want that to live on for eternity!

Week 54 - Pursuit of Happiness

Who doesn't pursue happiness? Even if we have a really bad day, as the sun sets and the world rests for a bit, we tell ourselves that tomorrow will be better and try to seek the peace and happiness at least for that moment, with that affirmation. πŸ˜Š

In the past, Dev has gotten into a lot of trouble by his weakness of not able to think beyond the moment.. But, it now seems that, it is the only way to seek happiness...in his sorrowful and lonely life! In his pursuit of happiness, Dev went to Sonakshi to ask her permission to take Suhana with him to his home, to his mom who wanted to spend some time with her. What struck me first in that scene was Dev's yet-in-tact regard for the Bose parents, especially Bijoy as he addressed him "Baba"..πŸ‘πŸ½πŸ‘πŸ½πŸ‘πŸ½ Sonakshi has long given up that regard for Ishwari and did not hesitate to address her as "Mrs.Dixit" and rightly so!

This fear or disregard for Ishwari is what made her prepare the contract, especially after Ishwari had come to the Bose house and challenged them... Although I totally understand Dev's position and his harmless attitude.. I think this contract will only do him much good, if at all, in future..I hope so. He just wants to genuinely be Soha's father, and for that moment, signing the contract is the first step. I really like how Dev lives in the moment only, without a fear of future or regret of past.πŸ˜„❤️

Suhana is pretty much like Dev in her personality and in her seeking her mom's validation for everything.. I am really thankful that the makers have kept Soha out of the picture during the contract.. πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ» I don't know if all other Indian shows are mindful of these things...about keeping the kids as kids. With her cute little bag, a cuter dimpled smile, and innocence as a child, she was ready to hold her papa's hands to go to her home, to her dadi, to the family that is dear to her papa. I will say a lot of "papa" for her, even if Suhana is not ready to say that yet..πŸ˜‰πŸ˜‰

The Dixit house was in celebration mode and decorated by the "good-hearted" people, including Ishwari in this case and excluding the Vicky-Maami duo...Golu is the charm of the "Dixit" family and his abundant love for his Big cha comes through scene after scene and its so heartwarming to see this love for Dev! Cake for his Big cha's daughter, his sister, Suhana was the best way to welcome her! Golu will be the one to teach Vicky and Mami about the lesson of selflessness and love. πŸ˜„❤️

Finally, it was also so good to hear those positive words for Dev from Eleena when she confronted Vicky!! 100% true words and its sad that she got trapped with Vicky..But its amazing how she pulled through in this family for so long..a girl who was such a rebel even from the beginning!! Its probably because of the genuineness which she saw in Dev that she decided to stay there and be a support to him. And I wish that she be the bridge in the gap that now exists between Dev and the Bose family! As fans of this show, I know a lot of us feel sad for Dev and pity his current helpless position and Eleena's talk was quite a medicine for our aching hearts! πŸ˜Š

Ishwari's flawless happiness as she welcomed her grand daughter added with the joy of Golu and cheer of Ms.Beautiful and cool dadu made the Dixit house only sparkle more! and so, we can ignore that burning smell coming from the direction of Vicky and Maami.- atleast for now. Yet, Suhana overheard mami..and I am sure she has made an opinion about mami. I cant wait to hear what nick name Suhana will give the Ex-GKB
πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Dev's attempts to keep everyone happy, irrespective of how he feels about it - is a trait that he was born with! The teeka for Suhana's sake and eating from his mom's hands for Ishwari's sake are just his ways of giving the moment's happiness to the people he loves. He never has an agenda behind doing these things... However, for people like Ishwari, this becomes a big piece of information in determining how much the person loves her! Well.. what can I even say about it? But I am extremely scared with her determination to somehow make Suhana "Bose" into a Suhana "Dixit"..😞😒

But let me try and live in the moment, like Dev, without fear of future, because I want to feel happy now, and why not? The little kids running around the house can make even the walls and floors and sofas look happy! πŸ˜„ Anyone, who had the experience of living in a house with little kids can relate to the happiness in the Dixit house that night.

Sonakshi's fear and confusion at this point is quite understandable. She has sent a part of herself back into the Dixit home...Coming back to Delhi, setting up her office close to Dev's, letting Suhana meet Dev and now letting her go into the Dixit home may all be the fate's plan..however Sona had a choice of not getting into any of this, but she let herself into this fully aware of the implications. Its because of the love she has for Suhana. Any parent will want the best for their kids. A dad is an essential relationship for a child and Sonakshi wants to give it to her daughter, not because, she cant handle being a single mother..but because, she wants her daughter to have everything in life..Suhana's happiness is Sonakshi's happiness and this phase of the story is about this mother-daughter's pursuit for happiness! πŸ˜„

The little flashback of Sona was just apt for that moment - I totally get how helpless she must have felt in the initial days of being a new mother.. Even when everything is perfect, life changes, the moment a woman becomes a mother... and in Sona's case nothing was right at that time.. I definitely feel sorry for all that she had to go through... In this society, a father's role is very understated when it comes to child birth. Dev had all the qualities for being that support for Sonakshi, but yet because of fate he never got to play that role! Sigh...

Well..lets not dwell in the past.. the present is God's present to us..πŸ’“

What a lovely time, Suhana had in the Dixit home.. Running around, playing with her brother, being pampered... everything that a little kid needs! It was such a pleasure to see Ishwari, mama, Eleena, little Golu and Dev enjoying Suhana's company... my own evil eyes must have fallen on the little girl that she got hurt... But the world's bestest father came to her rescue! I shouldn't be thinking this..but the time when Ishwari applied medicine for Sona's knife cut long time ago was what came that moment to my mind.. But I prefer Dev's table story. And I always believe that those daughters who hear from their dads that they are strong will grow up to be one!πŸ’ͺ🏼πŸ’ͺ🏼

Well.. however prepared we are for the storm, we do resist its effect in all possible ways, when we are in a storm.. Suhana being with Dev was a storm that Sonakshi had feared...and her reacting to the little bruise on Soha's knee was just that..Even though she knew fully well that Suhana is fine and Dev has kept his words, she had to show some resistance to let go of him, just like that... Suhana's rescue to her papa was the perfect daughter style rescue! Daughter's somehow manage to have that magical love for their dads and it was nice to see that magic, even if they met only after 7 years!πŸ‘¨‍πŸ‘§

Even though the summer camp scenes that came later this week, made some really good impression on the viewers, my favorite part this week, was watching Dev missing his daughter after dropping her off with Sona... Whenever we return from my parents' house after a vacation, my parents and brother always tell me how quiet the house has become and how they don't feel like cleaning the place at all... Even if I go back after a year, I will still see the little stickers stuck on the fridge or the little scribbles of my kids on the wall still there.. and my dad never allows that to be cleaned.. Dev is after all the father of Suhana and this is her own house and the emotion that Dev brought out that night did not fail to bring the tears to my eyes.. I must look for new adjectives to describe Shaheer's performance.. Let me just say, "Shaheer, you are a splendid actor! you are enormously talented.. keep entertaining us!!"πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘ŒπŸ»πŸ‘ŒπŸ»

For some people, money is happiness and for others, relationships are. Those who run behind money, will in the end only realize that money cannot buy happiness.. and those who run behind the relationships will be the ones to experience the bliss that happiness brings! The camp will surely bring Suhana closer to Dev!

Dev is a handsome guy. We all know that.. The moms drooling over him is not quite surprising for us... But Sonakshi is clearly surprised and very clearly bothered about it! I noticed it..Dev did too.. Every time Dev flirted with the parents or teachers, Sonakshi's possessiveness quotient was on the increase!!  She really needs to work hard on keeping those emotions inside her... otherwise, she is sure to find herself blown away by the charm of Dev! πŸ’˜πŸ’˜

From Dev's side, he had and will always love Sonakshi. We don't need any proof for that. Sonakshi probably is aware of that too.. But she is angry with him for all these years, because he was never able to express it enough, when it was most needed.. And in the past 7 years, she had almost convinced herself that Dev does not love her at all! It was so good to see the old Sonakshi peeking out to see, "is it really my Dev?"...as Dev expressed (to the teacher), that he is in love with someone... Dev of course meant her! πŸ˜‰ There is really no doubt in me about his love for Sona at all. Whether he was/is/will be able to stand up for her in all circumstances and whether he was/is/will be able to manage satisfying his mom, while still showing his abundant love and care to Sonakshi - is a different story.

However Dev's only aim now, is to somehow impress Suhana and make her call him "papa" by the time the camp is over.. And in this journey, Dev also has a very capable "Junior"! The Junior Dev aka Golu, in his attempt to make a great impression about Dev, went on to even say that his Big cha got rid of all the dinosaurs and thats why, there are no more dinosaurs in this world! Golu's cuteness, his voice modulation and body language are just perfect and he captures our hearts over and over again! πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ» Golu's exaggerated praises seem to work though! A long shot, but the ball thankfully went inside the basket. I think the Gods are on Dev's side now.. πŸ™πŸΌ

Apart from making Suhana call his Big cha as "papa", I think Golu also has a secret agenda of making Sona his "Big chi" πŸ˜Š

The Summer camp to be continued next week. Sonakshi might be able to resist the handsomeness of Dev, her ex-husband. However, she probably does not realize that men look more handsome and more attractive when they become good dads to their children! πŸ€“πŸ€“

Before we wrap up let me quickly touch upon Saurabh-Ronita. They are a very good couple! Ronita seems to be an extremely grounded, smart, intelligent woman - the kind that will fit with ease into the Bose family. Saurabh is a normal person with faults and goodness, both. While advising Saurabh, Sonakshi spoke about "Trust" and how Saurabh was so wrong in coming to a conclusion about Ronita, without talking to her.. Agreed.

However, I was not able to recollect when Dev judged Sona based on any assumptions about her.. Correct me if I am wrong! But even though its a fact that Dev did not stand up for her, when things went out of control.. he had always openly expressed to Sona, how he is eternally obligated to keep his mother happy under any circumstance..On the contrary, Sonakshi was the one who judged him and came to conclusions, without investigating the facts...be it about her infertility diagnosis, or slapping Bijoy, getting her family out of their home or even the prenup.. During all these occasions, wasn't she the one who made judgements about Dev? πŸ€”

Well, past is past and thinking about it and arguing again and again only spoils our happiness... The same can be said about future as well. I am extremely scared about what GKB's plans are...But worrying about it will not do me any good! This current moment is our life and to live this moment, is the only way to be happy...

Its Holi and what can be a better time to be happy!? Sonakshi spread the colors of love on Dev on one beautiful Holi day and Dev let himself drown in it, willingly. Sonakshi is his happiness and Suhana is the gift from God for their true Love. I am sure Dev's pursuit of happiness will be successful!

Week 52 & 53 - A child is born

Change is so inevitable in life. When a child is born, everything changes for the family. The priorities, the schedules... and every single person of the family has to adapt to the changes that comes with child birth πŸ˜Š Even though Suhana is almost 7, she was born only now for Dev.

It was a roller coaster ride for me to watch all 5 episodes of week 52 back to back! I don't know whether it was because of the roller coaster rides I took during my vacation or if everyone felt the same!

Dev is now a dad, not just Ishwari's son and not just Sonakshi's husband... Sonakshi is not just Dev's wife or a Bose daughter.. but now a mother of Dev's child... Ishwari is now a grandmother of a little girl of her darling son.. Everyone's roles have changed from each other's angle. Its almost as if these are totally new people yet with the same basic personality! However, the current situation that everyone is in allows only a controlled joy..

For a moment, the proposal scene flashed in front of me, when Dev told Sonakshi "I love you as a man loves a woman" for which Sonakshi asked him.. "Mr.Dixit, can you hug me please?" They have moved poles apart from that moment.. Whats missing right now, what Dev and Sona are resisting from expressing now, is that sweet vulnerability. A child's presence has the power to bring it back - I believe in this. I can wait for that day. I am in no hurry πŸ€“ Until then, lets see how our story's characters are evolving..

Dev

Dev finally found out the truth about Suhana. It took him a sad, hurt, heartbroken Eleena and some more time and effort before he found that truth. I wondered why he even brought Eleena in this equation..when he could have done it his way... Did he genuinely care for Eleena to be part of the Bose family's happiness? or was he just using her selfishly... We may never get an answer for this question, but we all know that he is a good man. His ways have been wrong, pretty much all the time.. but his intentions are always correct.

The moment of him realizing that Suhana was his very own darling daughter was very emotional for him, obviously. A feeling that a man usually goes through for 10 long months and then a few gripping hours at a clinic was pretty much experienced by him in just 10 seconds.. At that moment.. all I felt was.. Sonakshi and the rest of her family cannot compensate for the loss they have given to this good man. Shaheer, again nailed it with his trademark "dialogue-less" acting πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘ŒπŸ»πŸ‘ŒπŸ»

Dev might have overlooked the details of the birth certificate.. But I definitely noticed that the "Father's name" was empty and my heart ached for him! πŸ˜’ Suhana is not an illegitimate child.. She is the gift of the true Love that Dev and Sonakshi shared. She is the answer to Dev's prayers.. During the time when Ishwari was busy asking God why Sonakshi took away Dev from her and Sonakshi was pleading God to make Ishwari accept her as Dev's wife.. Dev was the only one that begged for the child that Sonakshi and his mother wanted..the happiness of his mother and Sonakshi equally.. nothing for himself... Thats probably why God answered only his prayers. ❤️

Dev's personality and character really shone brightly last week. He always respected and loved Sonakshi. The way he said "Sonakshi maa ban gayi" before anything else proved just that.. The way he recognized his being inefficient towards his duties of a husband was so honestly accepted by him when he said to his mom "main sirf ek na-kaam pati nahi hoon.." His happiness for his little Suhana was beyond his imagination because the six-seven years flew by in just a few seconds in front of his eyes... Ishwari, for the first time, showed some genuine happiness... An arrival of a child definitely brings about a change in the entire house.

I am sure that Dev must have been awake throughout that night only imagining the things his daughter would have done while growing up and probably even rehearsing what he would tell her the following morning..

I remember my husband and I talking to our children when they were born and I realize that it was a continuation of what we spoke to them when they were still unborn.. because the first introduction of parents and kids are made much before they are born..the little movements that a mother feels inside her first is very special... when she explains and shows it proudly to her husband, its a precious moment that happens only in that window of time and does not occur again and again..  For a couple like Dev and Sonakshi who were so much in love, its hard to believe that they never got to experience it all together,. And however much I try to justify that it was Ishwari's mistake that this couple separated..it was Vicky's mistake, Bijoy's mistake, etc... it all boils down to the decision that Dev and Sonakshi made. Everyone else is immaterial. They must have stayed strong.πŸ˜’πŸ˜’ This child deserves to be with her mother and father.

But, inspite of all the anxiety, I felt Dev was pretty grounded when he met Suhana, his daughter.. The way he fondly asked about her family.. and slowly bringing the topic about her dad was really sweet.. It was such a warm scene where the dad introduces himself to his little princess with abundant love yet with the need to be extra cautious of her changing emotions..

But the biggest heartbreak for him came much later... when he realized that his own dear mother was the reason that he was away from Suhana for the past 7 years!! When he learnt from Sonakshi that she had made an attempt to meet him and reconcile things for the sake of their baby girl, he really broke down.., especially after realizing that his mom was the reason that he never even got to know about it... Again, Shaheer as Dev performed extraordinarily brilliant in portraying the state of a helpless heartbroken man πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ» And Sonakshi did feel extremely sorry for him as well, I could see that.

I am proud of Dev and all the changes that has come in him in 7 years.. But the basic personality of him, the impulsiveness.. is still there. The sending of cell phone through Golu to school, dropping into Soha's room at night are all wrong ways even though his intentions are right.  Suhana Bose, who is the daughter of Ms.Perfect Sonakshi, is obviously smart enough to keep a check on Mr.Dixit's such impulsive acts. Sometimes, for the soft corner I have for Dev, I wish Suhana was not that smart and goes in tune with the impulsive steps of Dev! Sigh... but good for her she is this way. After all, he is a mamma's boy and must be able to relate to Soha being a mamma's girl! πŸ˜πŸ˜¬

Much challenge for Dev ahead! A child calling her dad by his last name is probably something no dad would have ever experienced and Dev has to endure that as well! He must make his daughter call him papa in all its true essence. Dev is no doubt the best father. After all he has parented the cute Golu. And its going to be pretty easy for him to impress Suhana.. as long as there are no external factors coming between them πŸ˜Š

Sonakshi

When a woman, especially a good woman is humiliated by her in laws the way Sonakshi was, then whatever she does to retaliate is definitely justified. Her relationship with Dev was constantly manipulated by that family and she was always under criticism and hatred for as long as she was there. Even though Dev loved her very dearly, he was never able to stand up for her in a way that the rest of his family will stop their mis-doings against Sona.😞

As I heard Sonakshi tell Dev that she attempted to come and meet Dev and forget all that had happened between them, I honestly felt bad for her. We could, for the sake of taking Dev's side, justify it by saying... Sona should have called again..told him somehow about Soha, etc. etc. However, a humiliation of that kind is not a trivial thing. It must have been very disheartening, hurting and embarrassing...But inspite of that bitter feeling, the care that she showed in her eyes for Dev as he collapsed in his chair unable to believe his own ears, was very touching. Very nicely done, Shaheer and Erica πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ» That care carried on to the later scene as well when Suhana called Dev as "Mr.Dixit" instead of "papa". I could see in her eyes how much she felt sorry for him and wanted to console him. However, the fence they have created for themselves is stronger than the care they have for each other..atleast so they think..

At this point, Sonakshi's confusion has started... From Suhana's angle, she wants her to meet her dad and bond with him..She keeps telling Suhana "you can do what you feel like..." and tells Dev "She is our baby girl"." Humaari beti".. But from Dev's angle, she is extremely scared that he may separate her from Suhana.. and so she often reminds him "Soha mere beti hain.. I will not allow you to take her away from me.". Thats why.. when Soha told her that she wanted to talk to Dev, Sonakshi checked with her how far close she will go near Dev..she asked Soha "What if he wants to meet you.. will you go?" And I can completely empathize with her on this oscillating emotion that she is experiencing! If only there is a way to divide the heart into 2 exactly equal parts..so that Sona and Dev can both have their part..without the worry or fear of losing the whole..

The beauty of this show is the beauty of the characters. When Ishwari came in search of Suhana to the Bose house, Sonakshi did not deprive her of that happiness, nor can I visualize her depriving anyone of Suhana just for the sake of avoiding. Sonakshi is and always will be the strong woman with definite and good intentions and her ways will also be fair. If she seems arrogant, then so be it. That is the way to react to humiliation and injustice.

I did however find the activity class and afternoon nap, too dumb of a reason to stop Dev from seeing Suhana.. What if Soha doesn't go to activity class for one day or skips afternoon nap for one day.. I was telling my husband about it and he quickly pointed to me and asked me to try and remember how insane I was when my kids were young... Ya... I must confess.. I used to be rather paranoid about their afternoon nap and after school classes πŸ˜¬πŸ˜¬

Sonakshi became a mother 7 years ago. So her life changed 7 years ago..not  just in the last couple of days when the truth has become evident to the Dixits. However, the new relationships are very stressful for her to handle mainly because she knows the downside and shortfalls of the Dixit household and she is unable to make a decision of how much she can involve Suhana in this - although she knows that she must be willing to share Suhana's life with them..

I am sure that Sonakshi understands Dev inside out. And feels bad for him and wants him to find peace in the presence of their daughter. But she has tasted the bitter medicine of being with the Dixits and does not want to go in that route at all. But how long can she hold on like this??

Angry and arrogant Mr.Dixit may not be able to win her over, but the charming Dev has the power to win her in no time. I cant wait for the Kuch Kuch hota hai themed Summer camp!! πŸ˜πŸ˜ Is the camp in Shimla? πŸ€”πŸ˜πŸ˜¬

Ishwari

Ishwari is the most predictable of the whole lot. Her motives are always self centered. Meaning, not "self" as a person. In that world of "self" she has a few people only. Sonakshi was and will never be part of that world. Will Suhana be? I guess the answer to this question is "It depends".

The moment she knew that Dev was back to his old self again and is full of joy about his daughter, she was genuinely happy for him. But, the moment Dev said little Suhana had taken after her mother Sonakshi, she sulked. When she was introduced by God to the innocent Suhana, without prejudice, she adored her not knowing that she was her granddaughter. But ever since she came to know that Suhana is her granddaughter, she is hell bent on giving only the least of respect or regard for the fact that she is Sonakshi's daughter!

Ishwari very nicely talked about family being a plant and even though all the branches, leaves, flowers, may be completely different in the way they all look, its still one family and its the responsibility and duty of the whole plant to make sure the new leaf or flower feels at home.. That the whole plant will take care of the new arrival. What a nice way of comparing family with Plant.. However, I wonder why she never applied this theorem to Sonakshi.πŸ€”πŸ˜ Why was Sonakshi never given that care which will make her feel at home.. Why was she always treated as an outsider only.. Ishwari was the reason that the beautiful flower Sonakshi failed to thrive in that home..even though her own prince Dev was right next to her..πŸ˜’

Ishwari spoke about principal & interest and that Sonakshi (or the Bose family) succeeded in separating Dev from her (which is the principal by the way) and they wont succeed in separating Suhana from the Dixits (which is the interest). Although I will ask her to review her statement one more time as to who separated who... I was happy and enjoyed she challenging Bijoy!! Finally someone gave him a bitter medicine.

When Sonakshi came back to the Dixit house, seven years ago, Ishwari accepted that she had sent her away and that had she known that Sonakshi had Suhana at that time, she wouldn't have done that... So, if Sonakshi didnt have a child, Ishwari wouldn't let her in? Who is she, by the way, to decide what Dev wants to do with his life and wife? I wondered why Dev never asked Ishwari this question.. "Kyun maa! agar Sonakshi akele aathi tho kya hua..kyun tum mujhe bathaya nahi.." That makes me wonder how much has Dev even changed in the last 7 years..😏😏

By the way, I don't know if Ishwari realized it yet.. but she is in a soup now! (and so is Ex-GKB) If she wants Dev and Suhana to bond more, she is unfortunately going to let Dev bond with Sona as well whether she knows it or not, likes it or not!! And if she doesn't let Dev bond with Suhana, she has to be ready to see Dev die all over again, while still being alive!! And for him, this will be the third and final round πŸ˜’

Suhana Bose Dixit

Oh well..... And the cutie pie is exactly how Dev and Sonakshi wanted her to be. choti si..pyaari si..pari..tiny, mini Kharghosh. And Ms.Perfect, just like her mom πŸ˜Š

How much this child has gone through these last 2 weeks.. A person who she adored a lot, turns out to be her own father.. She has so much confusion in her mind about how she must react to him and even how much she can love him so that her mother doesn't get hurt.. Dev went through a similar problem between his mother and Sonakshi..but then he was 28 years old at that time.. This little girl is hardly 7... And on top of all that, she has to also handle Dev's crazy acts! Not to mention the sudden change of equation that she has with Golu in school. Really, children have lot of tension too...

Suhana stole our heart right from the beginning, for the mere fact that she is Dev and Sona's daughter. And the first official meeting of Dev and her was as awesome as we can ever imagine! The sudden mood change that this little girl brought in her face as Dev started to say that he is her father was truly amazing. The little child actor supported Shaheer perfectly in that scene and pretty much in all other scenes thereafter! πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»  This girl is a good find for the cuteness she brings. Her entire sequence with Ishwari and the rest of the Dixit family was like a breath of fresh air in that suffocating house! The smile with which she held Ishwari in the temple, is still lingering in my mind, because its one of the cutest smiles, I have seen on screen recently. πŸ‘ŒπŸ»πŸ‘ŒπŸ»

What should Suhana do?

I have been asking this question to myself ever since this season started. It will be the best thing, if Sonakshi and Dev get together again for the sake of Suhana and happily live together ever after. Thats probably what Suhana wants too... But we all know that its not that simple. And I don't want them to reconcile too, just for the sake of Suhana. But time waits for nobody..She has stayed long without the love of her father.. There is no need to be deprived of it anymore, especially after knowing who he is and where he is...

And Sonakshi has given full liberty to Suhana to choose what she wants to do..But, its not that easy for Suhana to do what her heart says. How can she go to him, while keeping her mom and grandparents happy? Well.. he is still Golu's big cha.. her friend.. she can go to him just as her friend, just as Golu's big cha.. and thats exactly what she is doing πŸ˜„

Although Dev is just like she imagined about her dad..its hard for her to accept him in that role as someone that hurt her mom. She is seeing everyday her grandfather and how he cares for his daughter, Sonakshi. And its hard for her to believe that her dad is not like her grandfather. I think the makers made the perfect decision to take the story in this direction where Dev has to involve Suhana in his life, so she can understand his side of story.. It does not happen over night. Its a gradual process. Talking about children, they always say "Tell a child, she forgets; show her, she will remember; involve her, thats when she learns"!

The last episode of this week beautifully ended on the note of how "perfect" Suhana is! She is innocent yet smart and completely honest. "Hello, Mr.Dixit! How can I call you papa.. To me, papa is like my granddad.". Although I hate that Dev is being called "Mr.Dixit" and being compared to Bijoy - its a fact that Suhana has only seen Bijoy as the dad figure so far. But once she experiences the love of her own dad, this will change.

"I will not go anywhere without asking permission from my mom." - strong, honest little girl. None of Dev's impulsive tricks will work. He must do it only the "right way".

What will happen between Suhana and Ishwari is yet to unfold in our story and I think finally Suhana will be the person to bell the cat! Ishwari will not be able to manipulate with this little girl and has to tell the truth as truth. And Suhana is a child who is smart enough to guard her mom in all honestly. Ishwari has to come to terms with the fact that Sonakshi is part of Dev whether they live together or not. That a wife is the "Ardhagini" of a man.πŸ’‘

Golu

A huge change has come to Golu too.... The only father he has experienced so far is Dev. The makers again have conceived this beautiful, very very beautiful role - Golu!! Golu is almost Dev's son, Dev's friend, Dev's Junior :) Dev gives to him, all that he never got to experience as a child. Although there is no emotional drama shown to us, between Dev and Golu, this relationship is full of emotions. Its beautiful the way its shown :) Golu's jealousy is very much justified and Dev recognizing it and promising Golu that nothing has changed between them is the cutest thing!

Golu now has the biggest responsibility of all. He must tell Suhana what a nice father Dev is and make her long for that father's love. And he must also pass on the message that Dev has a big soft corner for Suhana's mother, his big chachi. And that Ishwari, his big dadi, is not a really bad person. And even probably that Vicky, his dad has some evil plan!

This cute boy is a great find! πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ» All his scenes are my favorite, but the one where he prays for Dev with the "blowing off an eye lid game" is my most favorite. That, and all the scenes of him hanging in Dev's bed chatting away with him..😍😍

Its so heartwarming to see Dev share every bit of his day with Golu.. even the fact that Suhana is not calling him papa..

Its nice to see Sonakshi parenting the tiny kharghosh of Dev and Dev parenting the tiny Mr.Abhodro of Sonakshi
πŸ˜„

One whole year has passed and the show is still as fresh as the first flowers of spring. Congratulations team Kuch Rang Pyar ke aise Bhi ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
