Week 51 - The lies and deceit

Big or small, important or not, out of fear or to preserve happiness... A Lie is a Lie. The cost we pay is huge and the loss we will incur is definite.

Ishwari's lies have already created enough damage to her and Dev's life. But, inspite of that she is only adding on to the account! Sonakshi has only one lie.. But thats a huge one.. What will it cost her? Only time can say that.

Before getting to the lies..

The week started with Jatin calming down Sona as if he knew everything about her and as if he is the only person that has any right on her πŸ‘ŠπŸ»πŸ‘ŠπŸ»πŸ‘ŠπŸ»πŸ˜‘😑😑 This first scene surely put me off big time! I am very possessive about Dev and Sonakshi and cant stand anyone between them. Definitely not in the name of a prospective spouse.

In many ways Ritwik seemed better than Jatin...sorry Jatin fans. And however much Jatin flaunts his abs, he does not impress me..not even if he stands upside down..😬
πŸ˜‚ Well..one thing might get him into our good books and that is, if he gets Dev, Sonakshi and Suhana together by some means πŸ˜„ Towards the end of the week, he did seem like a good man. What he said about perspectives is very true... Even a snake has its point of view in causing harm...Thats why, none of us have ever been able to completely hate Ishwari or Bijoy or anyone for that matter.. All of them have their own point of view. And this conversation also got into Sonakshi's heart a bit.

Even though I say that I cannot completely hate Ishwari, I must admit how irrelevant her acts have become to Dev and us! What once made us say "awww... so sweet", now makes us only say "Oh! please..not again!!" I am talking about the memory chest she brought out to show her brother. Her sudden urge to go see her son (claiming that she is longing for her son and he is longing for his), although might seem to her as the same magical connection she has with her son..somehow has lost its importance in our eyes. All of her acts seem to be only aimed at one thing - to stop Dev and Sonakshi from getting together again..not even in their dreams.

Sonakshi is the dream of today's women who want to be independent and who don't want any validation from anyone for any of her decisions. She is obviously too much for Ishwari to handle.. But just as a reminder to Ishwari - Sona is what she is today because of the suffocation that Ishwari created between her and Dev. Sonakshi's assertive answers to Ishwari were exactly what was needed. Even though Sonakshi told that neither Dev nor Ishwari should really be concerned about her life anymore, she also clarified that Jatin was only a childhood friend.

If Ishwari was really sad that Dev was being restless..she should have cooled him down by telling all that she knows about Jatin and Sona.. But she chose to lie. For whatever reason it is, a lie is a lie. I still very clearly remember that night during the first few days after Dev-Sona marriage. While Sona was waiting  eagerly for Dev's return from work, Ishwari asked her to go up and rest and then told very conveniently to Dev that Sona was tired and wanted to rest.. Yes, its a small lie.. but it separated Dev and Sona for the next couple of days...a completely unnecessary lie. What she does now, is the same. Just twist the words and say a lie to her convenience.

How Sonakshi confronted Ishwari about this lie was one of the highlights of this week.. If truth is clay..Ishwari is capable of moulding it into any toy (ie. lie) that she wants...Unlike other shows the misunderstanding was cleared in just a couple of episodes! The dialogue writers again need a pat in the back for their excellent work. Every single dialogue is much much better than even top notch movies! πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»

But Sonakshi does not have a clean chit either.. for her to go around and give a lecture on "lies". She has the biggest lie for Dev.. She has deceived Dev big time! Its not a cup of coffee or a scoop of ice cream that you can enjoy without sharing with your spouse.. Its a child and the father has every right to know about it. Period. πŸ˜πŸ˜

Ishwari and Sonakshi might point fingers at Dev also... "He lied too..." He lied about Sonakshi being pregnant, about her condition even prior to marriage.. But his intentions of those lies were different and selfless.. unlike what the women were doing now. Nevertheless, he reaped the loss of those lies. He is still suffering from its effect. But for those lies, he may not have even married Sonakshi or even if he did, things would have been different between the 3 of them.

You cannot hide any lie forever. Sooner or later things have to get clear and we have to face the consequences. Ishwari's already strained relationship with Dev deteriorated further... And the truth about Suhana is also going to be exposed soon... soon, I think..if the tube light above Dev's head finally decides to glow! πŸ€“πŸ˜‚

The two little kids bring a lot of flavor, cuteness and genuineness to the show. While the adults are busy manipulating each other and using each other's weakness... the kids are the only source of Sanity in this universe! πŸ™πŸΌ

Golu is the epitome of cuteness.. His honest possessiveness over his dear Big cha was such a treat to watch and his handling of it was straightforward and to the point! From the time, Big cha appreciated Suhana's assignment till the time Suhana and Dev became friends, Golu was totally jealous and extremely cute! "Kar diya na mujhe drop.. Ab kyoon beite ho? Aapko boring Suhana se love hogaya hain.. Aap mujhe drop karne nahi..use milne aathe ho!!" "Big cha sirf mere big cha hain..tumhara nahin..sirf mein unke saath tradition bana saktha hoon..." So articulate, Golu!! πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ» And.. not to miss the typical boyish "wiping the cheeks after a kiss"... Well done Golu πŸ˜„ It is sad that such a cute little boy did not get the love and care of his parents and had to find all the happiness in the care of chacha. Dev is this little boy's family.. Big cha is the little world that Golu and Dev built for themselves.. Its a beautiful little world. ❤️

Suhana is portrayed as a much mature person and I have always seen such maturity in kids who grow up with a single parent.. Its usually, as though they have taken up the place of the missing parent. Suhana's baby girl story was obviously her own life story and it was wonderful that Dev, her dad, got to hear her version of the story first hand. The background music was very nostalgic to us, as it reminded us of Dev and Sonakshi's proposal scene... "Mein aisi wali beti hoti tho"... was such a sweet way to connect the 2 hearts together during their first meeting..πŸ‘¨‍πŸ‘§❤️ In addition to our desire for the Dad and daughter to bond, the music also played a great role in making that as the best scene of this week. There was a twinkle in her eyes as Soha mimicked her dad's "heart wins" action! Her dimple is really sweet and Dev and Sonakshi are extremely lucky to have a kharghosh as sweeet as Soha..❤️

As the week progressed Soha and Golu's growing bond inspite of the jealousy was a treat to watch. Ofcourse, Big cha had a big role to play in bringing the kids together. But in the process, it was hard for Dev to ignore his own growing bond with Suhana, inspite of she being completely unrelated to him (or so he thought!). Suhana's goodness in helping others, sweetness in talking, kindness in forgiving, thoughtfulness in health, smartness and intelligence were all familiar to him..They were all the qualities that he was mesmerized with, once upon a time.. and the background music only reminded him and us of the nutritionist Dr.Sonakshi Bose, who took over him like magic.❤️❤️

Dev and Sonakshi did not choose this life that they are living now... They somehow lost their path and drifted apart...If not, this beautiful, sweet girl will be theirs.. Such a profound thought came to Dev. True.. they drifted apart because of the jealousy, possessiveness, anger, lies, deceit of their own family.. πŸ˜’ And still, even after seven years, neither of them was able to forget each other and neither of them was ready for another relationship. Unlike stereotypic TV shows, the makers did not prolong the Jatin-Sona match making of the Bose family or the Dev-X match making of the Dixits. In a yet another wonderfully conceived scene we got to see the "Final and Stern" decisions of Dev and Sona. I don't know if Ishwari will get the message that Dev intended to pass on.. but I hope atleast Asha has reestablished the confidence in her daughter and her love after Sona told her final decision.. I am pretty sure Asha's new novel is all about Dev and Sona.

But what was Suhana's fault in all this? The little girl was even unable to draw her family, complete with her mom and dad...😒 The girl deserved to be with her superhero dad and her mom.
πŸ‘¨‍πŸ‘©‍πŸ‘§ The dad also equally deserved to be with his darling princess. Time has caused this tragedy in their lives. Yet, there is still hope.

Yes... there is hope.. if only Dev can crack the simple riddle of "Who is Suhana Bose". I think the doctor who gave the verdict of Sonakshi's only 7% pregnancy chance has confused Dev big time.. He is having such a hard time finding the truth... Let him take all the chance he needs.. Please don't question him, how come the Bose house has so many easily accessible doors and windows to every room..πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ He is a superhero.. he can do anything.. please don't question him about the Bose sir name or the striking and noticeable similarities that Suhana has inherited from Dev and Sona.. Let him just find out the truth in his own way and however long he takes is fine. πŸ˜‚

I am only worried that Ishwari might end up in the Bose house along with Eleena, interrupting Saurabh's marriage proposal meeting..😒 Hope it does not happen.

Wrapping up...

Shaheer and Erica fit the role of Dev and Sona so well ! πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»
Dialogues are once again the highlight of the week ! πŸ‘ŒπŸ»πŸ‘ŒπŸ»πŸ‘ŒπŸ»
The screenplay is a hero too and the parallels are plenty..if only we pay careful attention..
Sona walking down the stairs and Dev praising her beauty reminded me of the orange lehenga scene when Dev first felt his love for her!
The part where he asked Suhana "kya kya acha lagta hai aapko" reminded me of the monologue of Dev, the day after his epic proposal night!
There are tons of parallels like these.. you can take it up as a project for fun!! πŸ˜‰πŸ€“

-----

ps. I am going on a holiday next week.. I am very sorry that I won't be able to write anything. I am even worried if I can catch up with all the exciting episodes. You guys please make sure things are under control in the Bose and Dixit family πŸ˜Š

Week 50 - Forever and Always...

Congratulations to team Kuch Rang Pyar ke Aise bhi for completing 50 amazing weeks!! πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»

What can I say about this week.. Finally our heavy emotions is starting to find a passage to drain.. I felt myself lighter, brighter, happier as each day of the week passed by..And am sure every "true" DevAkshi fan felt the same way. πŸ˜Š

There was no Paro..no Shruthi.. because, we are now talking about True Love.... True Love that never dies... True Love that triumphs... True Love for which everything else has to move and give way...❤️

The True Love of our story has many obstacles.

One of the main being the 2 families.

Well, not really the families, but Dev and Sonakshi's affection for their individual families. And their inner pressure to somehow protect their families independently...Both Dev and Sona, somehow didn't trust each other as much to let go off their own families. Its probably the case with the whole world. After marriage, we all somehow feel, we have given up a part of our responsibility towards our own family, in order to be with our spouse. And we try to make up for it in some way, all the time..

And in our story, Ishwari (and maami) never left a single opportunity to put down the Bose family. For Sonakshi, it was not easy to endure it at all. But she continued to do so.. until the point her Dev was standing with her.. That day of their return from Shimla, the moment she knew that Dev was against "her" family and is on the side of "his" family...her own protective reflex was triggered. It was very natural from her view, to take it upon her to protect "her" family...Reflexes are a matter of split seconds and you cant control those...She had no time to think that Dev would never slap her father or would never bring her family to the streets...

Bose family is not directly against Dev-Sonakshi relationship. But there are some things that bother me even from their angle.  I cannot give them a clean chit... We all know that Bijoy's hastiness had been one of the main reasons for the separation 7 years ago. Asha is probably the only "Sane" person of that generation in both families. She is probably the only person that understands Dev and his love for Sonakshi. And most importantly, she is the only person Bijoy and Sonakshi will heed to, even when their anger quotient is rocket high...With that power she had, I wish she had persuaded a little more in calming them down during that really dreadful night 7 years ago..Saurabh, the big brother was never really the "big" brother.. Atleast when things started to fall apart (all because of the help he got), he could have stepped up to say some things. Even today, after so many years, he just sings in tune with the rest of his family..I got angry when he said "Iss aadmi kya chahtha hain"

I talk about all these things now - because, this is the crux of Ishwari-Asha's conversation this week. Both of them were trying to heal the wound by covering it up... From Ishwari's side there is nothing that she can dare to cover up. But she had the guts to still expect Sonakshi to be considerate to her family and her son. Asha gave the right answers to Ishwari, quite assertively. But, she was also only washing her hands off of any responsibilities towards Sonakshi's decisions. Now its Sona's job, Asha cannot interfere.. agreed. But seven years ago, it was personal. And I somehow still feel she was the only person at that time, that had some power to set things right .. And to not inform Dev about Suhana is also not completely right...Asha surely left a few stones unturned. There is one more thing that the Bose family very conveniently ignored - the Prenup. Bijoy was a witness to how Dev reacted to the Prenup. If only he or Asha mentioned it to Sona, she would have thought about the signature on the prenup twice... she definitely would have.

But this Ash-Ish conversation paved way to introspect their roles... "You have done enough, 7 years ago..Now, Sona does not need your help" - Am sure this will keep Ishwari's mind busy πŸ€”πŸ€” "You never interfere in your children's life" - Am sure this will keep on questioning Asha if she did the right thing πŸ€”πŸ€” Hopefully these 2 mothers will get the right answers soon and move away from being an obstacle for this True Love to blossom again..

The other obstacle for the True Love is Dev and Sonakshi's possessiveness for each other.

We all know enough about Dev's possessiveness. Last time, his possessiveness somehow worked in his favour and helped him marry Sona. But this time, it has cost him his Love...Dev has always been respectful of Sonakshi's intelligence and capabilities (except the car driving ofcouse..😬😬). He has always given her enough space to be herself and grow. He has never shown his "male superiority" to overpower her in any way. But that night his possessive reflex was challenged by her choice of her family over him and his family.. The more she said "my family", "my baba", he somehow he lost his cool and said many things that he shouldn't have...not right. But we don't have control over our Reflexes.😞

Sonakshi loves Dev very dearly. Very very dearly. But she has never openly expressed her possessiveness...Had she expressed it, she would have defended him in front of her parents saying "Dev wouldn't dare to slap you baba.. it was a mistake". She would have fought with Dev and "his family" when he asked her to get out of the house! She would have confronted Dev that night and held him by his collar and would have asked him "How dare you sign that prenuptial agreement.. Don't you trust my Love for you.. Tear that agreement this second and burn it and prove to me that I am the most important for you..." And guess what, he would have done that, before she even finished her sentence - just to hold her again in his arms. Well... lack of possessiveness is also not good...😞

7 years later, Dev is still struggling to get over that possessiveness he has for her. Even if our relationship is based on "hatred", let me be the "only" person that hates you the most and hurts you the most. He wanted to rescue her before the earth quake hurts her. Ofcourse, his hatred for her is only a false fence that he made for himself, so that she and others don't see his crazy love for her.. Little Golu was the only one who can enter that fence to see the soft broken heart inside.. πŸ’”

With Jatin's entry, Dev has to now work extra hard to keep his possessiveness under control. Dev has always been an impulsive person.. Although he has changed a lot over time, its pretty evident that he still struggles to keep his mind free of thoughts about Sona. He must hone his acting skills even more to cover up his true feelings for her.

7 years later, Sonakshi is also beginning to see herself shaken one more time by his power of Love. She still does not want to believe that he has the power to sweep her off the floor in a second.. But she cant deny that its happening! The floor beneath her shook not because of the quake, but only because of his presence. She wants to protect him from Vicky and his evil tricks (the income tax raid was really only to save him from bigger losses). She finds herself next to Dev the moment she knew he was in danger. She doesn't save him to be the only person to hurt him.. She saves him from everything that might ever hurt him. She has the power to fight even with God, if need be! Vicky is nothing. After all, she is a woman. And there is nothing superior to the "Womanpower" in this world.πŸ’ͺ🏼πŸ’ͺ🏼

She may not accept yet, but thoughts about Dev keep haunting her. Tall reminds her of him..handsome reminds her of him..funny, angry, strong, everything reminds her of him.. And to add to it, she is right next to him in office. Once you like Dev, its hard to let go.. He was right. She was not ok and she should also work extra hard to keep her mind away from him.

I am sure that these two hearts have started to realize the feelings for each other again.. Things will soon start to surface up from deep inside - things that they have hidden from the rest of the world.. Slowly, the fence they have created for themselves will break - the false bravado, the flamboyance, the "I don't care about you attitude", etc.

The other obstacle is the "Ishwari" component

There is nothing new about this. And if we start to talk about it, 7 years is not enough to finish it all...

But this obstacle is beginning to lose its power. And True Love will soon over power it. The dialogues between Ishwari and Dev were so apt that it hardly needs any interpretation!

Ishwari is not evil for most part. But 2 main evil things that she did that night - 1. flip of words - She said "Go to a separate house" to Dev. But to Sona, she said "You should get separated". When questioned, she casually told Dev - "Whatever I told you is what I told her".
2. getting the prenup - This act of deceiving, she did even before the marriage. But brought it up at the right moment, which had the power to separate Sonakshi and Dev.
For Sonakshi, these two acts together, was enough to convince her that Dev wanted separation...

From Dev's side - its a biggest disappointment. Biggest deceit. Ishwari still cannot openly accept these big evil deeds. She continues to act a faultless mother, and blaming Sonakshi for all that happened. For the past 7 years, Dev has distanced himself from her only because of these. He respects her even now as any son should, which only shows his goodness. She refuses to accept her mistakes, which only shows she is not a good mother.

However this week, we saw some open discussions in this matter. Ishwari finally said something that is completely true "For the past 7 years, you have kept relationship only with Sonakshi - be it a relationship of hatred!!"
And Dev's dialogues to Ishwari were just bang on "What are you afraid of - for me or for the fear of Sona getting into your life again? What is your complaint about her - that she did not fulfill her responsibilities as a wife or she did not die in the process? I have forgotten my love for her..but I cannot destroy the memories I made with her.." πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»

With such open conversations beginning to happen, Ishwari has to, at some point accept her mistakes. Because, basically she is not evil.😊

The last obstacle - the real Evil

Mami and Vicky are the real Evil people in this drama. Its not a hidden secret. Its not hidden from Ishwari that their intention is only money. Its not hidden from Dev that Vicky is "useless" and Mami is "materialistic". However, they have never been questioned because they are "family".

What they did that night, especially Vicky, is still a hidden secret. Unless Vicky opens up, there is no way for others to know that Dev was not guilty (that the Bose house was snatched by "Ishwari communications"). Even Dev does not know that he is not guilty - because he was under the influence of alcohol that night.

Today, after many years.. Vicky's evil face is slowly getting exposed..one by one.. Its not going to be long before Ishwari can realize that forcing Dev to include Vicky in business was the biggest mistake she ever made!

Setting up goons to harm his brother is by far the cheapest act anyone can do..πŸ‘ŠπŸ»πŸ‘ŠπŸ» But unknowingly, it only paved way for Dev and Sona to keep aside their masks and be themselves..even if it was only for a short period.

This evil obstacle will soon be shattered to pieces by the sheer power of true love. In that direction, GKB has already started to put some restrictions on Vicky.. Thank God, she does not want to harm Dev physically :) She took me by surprise..!

The Catalysts, the kids, the cute Golu and the sweet Soha

While the obstacles are getting out of the way, the little kids have the power to bring Dev and Sonakshi together.

Golu and Dev are best friends these days! While the rest of his folks only speculated the motive and repercussions of Dev saving Sonakshi from earthquake, Golu was the only one to simplify it.. While Ishwari was busy pointing out the mistakes of Sonakshi as a woman and wife, Golu was the only one to express the gratitude in a simple way. I can't wait to see Golu befriend Soha and take her for a bike ride with his Big cha.🏍🏍

Soha is the only source of strength for Sonakshi. Suhana is a replica of Dev in her personality and mannerisms and keeps the good memories of him alive for Sonakshi. So much, that, even though she has never seen her dad, the imaginary picture resembled Dev exactly! This connection that she has with her dad will only strengthen when they meet each other!!  Needless to say, she is going to be the biggest catalyst in getting her parents back together.πŸ˜„

The high points this week:

- Shaheer's eyes. He doesn't need dialogues to express himself. I cant praise him enough. His eyes constantly questions Sonakshi.. "Why.. why did you leave me? Can't you see me dying for you?" Ofcourse the mask that he is wearing does not fail to show the false bravado! Every scene, every dialogue was a masterpiece this week, whether it was his scene with Golu or Ishwari or Sonakshi,  he was a show stealer this week! πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ˜πŸ˜

- Dialogues. Already this blog is so long. If I start to point out the specific dialogues, we will only run out of space..Dev's every single dialogue with Ishwari, was bang on! πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»  "28 saal bahot thameez dikayi maine", "Toh tumhari shikayat kya hain? Usne rishta nahi nibhaya ya jaan nahi di?" His interaction with Sona was so powerful "Dev Dixit mar raha hai..woh bhi Sonakshi ki bahoan main.." These as well as all the funny dialogues between Dev and Sona and between Dev and Golu were all quite enjoyable! The Bose sir name wali.. bahot khatranak hoti hai! πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

- The screenplay. The way the scenes are conceived need a special mention. The whole rescue of Dev by Sona was very nicely conceived in a lighter vein, yet too emotional. Complex relationship issues are so aptly conveyed from the kids' angle. The screenplay is another hero of this show! πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»

- Erica - She brings about a very real, very strong woman of today. Her expressions compliment the power packed performance of Dev very aptly. Her underplayed drama makes her look real and very relatable.πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»

- Ishwari - Needless to say, this experienced actress brings about so much conviction to the grey shade of Ishwari. Her scenes with Dev bring the anger of the viewers to the forefront, rightly so.!!

Its going to take a while before the obstacles can clear and give way for True Love to blossom. Until then, the lead characters are going to be keeping their "I don't care" and "I care" mask on and off. The process will surely keep us glued to the show. But once it blossoms, it will be forever and always.

Week 49 - Dishoom.... Dishooom..with ❤️

Last time it was Shruthi that started the week and this time it is Paro..Next week.. who knows? Dev-Paro jodi is better than Dev-Shruthi..  Dev's charm seems to have no limits :) Paro must have thought.."Ma'm has to be insane, to leave this guy...." Really unimportant information. I know. I know. πŸ˜¬

Sonakshi got back the home that she lost 7 years ago. Very commendable achievement by a woman in this male dominated society. It was heartening to see the Bose family cherish their golden days spent in their house. Our show did not show the difficulties that Sonakshi had to undergo in the last 7 years to achieve all this. That does not mean it was easy for her. I can definitely comprehend the hardships that she might have gone through and the happiness and a feeling of accomplishment that they all feel now, while getting back the same place again! πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»

Soon after that happy moment.. the face-offs started between our dear Dev and sweet Sona.. and it continued till friday and still not over! πŸ˜’

"Sweet" is a term usually used for a soft natured person.. And this sweetness is what is often misunderstood for weakness in today's world. Whether its a man or a woman, when we are sweet, we are just being used. It becomes rather necessary to let go off that "sweetness" if there is a need to show power. Thats what is happening in our show. πŸ˜πŸ˜

A wall was put up to separate the businesses - but not with Dev's consent. As we know, there are emotions attached for Dev with this building. And it was obviously too difficult for him to put up with another person, another business, working alongside him - be it anyone else or even Sonakshi. Thats only part of the reason for his behaviors. The other part is obviously his love and possessiveness for Sonakshi.

I really enjoyed the carefree yet confident attitude he showed to Sonakshi, cutting her conversation off with style, very aptly every time. His presence of mind was at its peak on monday! The way he acted scared, laughed sarcastically at her and made fun of her half-cooked business knowledge was all quite "heroic"!! This Dev really suits Shaheer and he handles it with so much ease! From the way he walks to the way he delivers his dialogues, there is so much difference from the earlier Dev to this Dev. It almost seems like a different actor!! πŸ‘πŸ½πŸ‘πŸ½πŸ‘πŸ½πŸ˜πŸ˜

Sonakshi tried her best to put up her confident face. But I am sure that she was taken aback when he withdrew that complaint and deprived her of "being the person that is fearless". Probably to recover from the insult, she concentrated a little bit more on showing off that day, which in turn irked Dev. The way she was inspiring not just her staff, but his staff as well, was definitely irritating Dev..

And this was only the beginning of their tit for tats!

You interrupted my phone conversation with Baba - I will interrupt your conversation with Mami. You call me an incapable Nutritionist - I call you Spineless! You take my pencil box..I will take yours... Oops..sorry that last one was meant for my kids..πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Anyway, the irritated Dev wanted to teach Sonakshi a lesson on what will happen if she shared the office space with Ishwari Communications.... So, he locked the door from outside and went home happily! But promptly reminded/cautioned Sonakshi to not have any of her office staff break the lock as that will mean that his office space was being trespassed. At that time, even though he was troubling her, he trusted her and did not even think that she would have her hand on his office files. And to be fair to her, she did not do it on purpose also.

Instead of doing that, Dev should have just switched off all the lights. She would have come running outside...really. Fear for darkness doesn't go even when you get really really old. I am suffering from it, so I know! πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Anyway, while Sonakshi was trying to find a way to get out of the room without calling any of the staff to come and help and while Dev was anxiously waiting for her call and playing Ludo with his family - Lets quickly take a round on the rest of the cast!

Bijoy Bose has completely lost any and all of the respect I had. He can be proud of himself as the most straight forward person and all that. But, bad mouthing about her dad to Soha is not a very respectable act. His hasty conclusions was one of the reasons for DevAkshi's separation 7 years ago.  And he has not changed a bit.. only worsened. I thought, he, being a father, will understand Dev's importance in Soha's life. But.. No. πŸ˜‘

Ishwari Dixit does not attract any sympathy at all..I hate to be rude to this genuine mother..But, inspite of the fact that Dev has gotten out of her cage, she insists on putting him back in it. Her constant reminders of Besan halwa and Raja beta will only take Dev farther away from her. I do understand her eagerness to see her dear son lead a happy and content life. But she must realize that happiness is very personal and is the responsibility of an individual, especially, when the individual is not an 8year old boy anymore. In addition to this, Ishwari's bigger problem is the enmity she has developed towards Sona. Sonakshi's perfectness continues to haunt her even after 7 years. Sonakshi's importance in her son's life is still unacceptable to her, even though she is completely gone from his life. πŸ˜‘😑

Mama ji is now only Bhaiya ji. The "mama" has gone out of him and he is only able to see his sister's pain. But how can we blame him? He does not understand the story from the couple's angle and more importantly he does not realize that his wife and son are truly EVIL. πŸ˜‘😑😑

Asha Bose probably holds a certain respect and regard for Dev still. And definitely still dreams about the beautiful love story that her daughter once had..Her quiet acceptance of the current situation is probably the need of the hour, especially with Soha around. Unlike Ishwari, Asha has always been a mother that finds happiness in her children's independence. And she continues to do that today. πŸ˜Š

Well.. coming back to Sonakshi, she found a nice trick to get out of the office. And it was payback time for Dev's actions. Just as I thought that they both were now even... the income tax raid took me by shock. Sonakshi had apparently found fraudulent records in Dev's office while searching for matchsticks...and she had asked the income tax people to enquire about it! Not fair, Ms.Bose. Not fair at all...πŸ˜’πŸ˜’

As the week thus came to a closure, I was in deep thought as to why would Sonakshi do something like that. Does she love Dev even a small percent? Dev seems to have very strong feelings for Sonakshi still, you can see it in his eyes.. However, Sona seems very stern and has gone to this level of even affecting the business that he holds very dear to his heart. She has been showing true enmity towards him.

Dev also showed some enmity, especially by way of snatching her award and making the issues more public. That is still probably not as serious compared to depriving him of his own daughter and shaking his business.

I don't understand all of Sonakshi's justifications. However I do know how the world sees you as a woman.

Women have a grammar unlike men. She must not be arrogant, she must be a loving mother, she must be respectful of her husband and in laws and these are apart from the stupid rules even around what she must wear to cover her body. Anyone, who does not follow this grammar is almost considered a slut. Anyone who does not live with her husband is almost taken for a rebel.

From the age old days of Mahabharat or even before, till today, women are always looked down upon as the weaker sex. Only a girl who puts her confident foot front can be successful. Even once, if she shows her vulnerability, there are hawks outside who will capitalise on that one moment. Dev is not one of those. She knows that. But Vicky is..and there are tons of Vickys in the real world.

Sonakshi's actions are all her survival mechanisms to live in this society without a caring husband's "protection".. And right now, her husband himself is part of the society, not hers anymore. She needs that wall to protect herself from the world. I respect her.

To dilute the seriousness of the situation, producers have made a commendable choice, by adding kids to this show. The Golu-Big cha combo is capturing everyone's hearts and this duo only gets better and cuter every week.

The ❤️ surely exists. Don't worry viewers... Dev has abundant love for his Sonakshi and Sonakshi is only protecting Dev from Vicky. Others may not be able to enter the iron wall around her..But Dev has a pass.
